How much does it cost to be an Elance provider?

There are 2 fees associated with being an Elance provider.

1. Membership fees.

Elance offers monthly free and paid membership plans.  All plans allow you to create a searchable profile and submit proposals to jobs in your skill category.  To see more benefits and costs of the Elance membership plans, click here. 

2. Service fees.

Elance charges providers a service fee depending on your past earnings on Elance and your membership plan. The service fee ranges between 4% to 6% of the total project value, plus payment processing fees of 2.75%.  To see more details on the services fees and when they are charged, click here.
